Snell & Wilmer Represents Microbrewery Mission Brewery in Acquisition by California Investment Company
SAN DIEGO – Snell & Wilmer advised Mission Brewery, a San Diego-based microbrewery, in its sale to a California investment company led by Kenneth Little, a partner in Brandes Investment Partners.
The acquisition was “through a small group of investors” and “is completely unrelated” to Brandes, said Little in a recent interview with Brewbound. The exact number of investors was not disclosed but the number is expected to grow and may include “some ownership by key employees.”
Bardia Moayedi led the Snell & Wilmer team advising Mission Brewery in the sale. The diverse team included Sarah Hibbard, Christina LaBarge and paralegal Justin Ferguson (corporate); Monique Lashbrook (real estate) and Joseph G. Adams (securities and shareholder litigation).
