Snell & Wilmer Advises Pangaea Ventures as it Leads $6 Million Series C Financing of Green Theme Technologies, Inc.
SAN DIEGO – Snell & Wilmer represented Phoenix-based client Pangaea Ventures, a leading venture capital firm focused on identifying and supporting high-potential hard tech ventures, as it led the Series C financing of Green Theme Technologies, Inc. (GTT), a textile innovation company with the mission to create products that out-perform existing technologies while eliminating water usage and pollution. New Mexico-based Cottonwood Technology Funds also participated. The funding will allow GTT to scale its technology, increase its capacity for development, and satisfy the increasing need for environmentally friendly solutions in the military, clothing, and footwear industries.
“We are thrilled to collaborate with investors who share our dedication to environmental stewardship and innovation” said Tom Lopez, CEO of Green Theme Technologies in a recent press release. “We are in a strong position to develop our innovations, expand our business, and bring about significant change in the textile sector with this investment. We are eager to increase the impact of our solutions, which provide businesses with an efficient means of producing high-performance goods without compromising sustainability.”
Chris Erickson, General Partner at Pangaea Ventures, stated, “Green Theme Technologies has created an outstanding solution that addresses a pressing need within the industry. As primary investors, we take pride in backing a business that is expanding the realm of sustainable manufacturing.”
A diverse Snell & Wilmer deal team led by Corporate and Securities Partners Bardia Moayedi and Daniel Mahoney including Sarah Hibbard, Monique Torres, and Law Clerk Olivia LaCasto advised Pangaea Ventures in the funding.
