Phoenix Partner David P. Nigro Joins the Board of Trustees of the American Printing House for the Blind
PHOENIX – Snell & Wilmer’s Phoenix Partner David P. Nigro has been elected to the Board of Trustees of the American Printing House for the Blind (APH) in Louisville, Kentucky. Founded in 1858, APH is the world’s largest nonprofit organization creating accessible learning experiences through educational, workplace, and independent living products and services for people who are blind or low vision.
For nearly the last decade, Mr. Nigro has been a leader throughout Arizona on issues relating to the education of children with sensory disabilities. He has served as President of the Board of the Arizona State Schools for the Deaf and the Blind and the President of the Board for The Foundation for Blind Children. Currently, Mr. Nigro also sits on the Board of Raising Special Kids. In 2019, Mr. Nigro was recognized by the Phoenix Business Journal as a Health Care Heroes Philanthropic Champion. Mr. Nigro’s service for APH now expands his leadership in this space to a national level.
Mr. Nigro's law practice is concentrated in intellectual property. He advises clients in patent and trademark prosecutions, patent and trademark litigation, and transactions involving intellectual property.
