Snell & Wilmer Attorney Savannah Wix Elected President-Elect of the MCBA Young Lawyers Division
PHOENIX – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Associate Savannah Wix has been elected as president-elect of the Maricopa County Bar Association’s (MCBA) Young Lawyers Division (YLD). After completing her term as president-elect, Wix will assume the position of president in 2026. Wix is currently a board member for the YLD.
The MCBA Young Lawyer Division works to involve young and new lawyers in serving the community and enriching the profession, while also focusing on the specific needs of young and new lawyers. The group provides opportunities for members to connect, both professionally and socially within the legal profession.
Within the community, Wix is a member of the Arizona Women Lawyers Association (AWLA), the Phoenix Committee on Foreign Relations (PCFR), and Rosie’s House Gala Planning Committee. She also volunteers as the Risk Prevention Advisor for the Zeta Phi chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta at Pepperdine University.
Within Snell & Wilmer, Wix is a member of the firm’s Special Litigation and Compliance Practice Group. She represents healthcare providers in Arizona, provides compliance advice to medical practices and facilities, and represents healthcare providers in litigation and before state licensing boards. Wix also has a criminal defense practice.
Wix received her J.D. from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. Prior to joining the firm, she completed an externship with the Honorable Judge Michael T. Liburdi and was a summer associate for Snell & Wilmer and Kercsmar Feltus & Collins. Prior to working in law, Wix worked in the entertainment industry at record labels like Warner Bros. Records and Hitco Entertainment.
