Snell & Wilmer Attorney Zach Schroeder Appointed to the Boys Hope Girls Hope of Arizona Associate Board of Directors

PHOENIX – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Phoenix attorney Zachary Schroeder was appointed to the Executive Committee of the Boys Hope Girls Hope of Arizona Associate Board of Directors.

Founded in 1989, Boys Hope Girls Hope of Arizona helps middle school and high school students rise above disadvantaged backgrounds through holistic programming in core areas such as life preparedness, leadership & service, empowered learning, personal development, and college & career readiness. Their organization believes in academic focus, service and community engagement, family-like settings to create a sense of belonging, long‑term and comprehensive commitment, faith-based value, and voluntary participant commitment.

Schroeder’s practice is concentrated in commercial litigation with a focus on intellectual property and employee benefits litigation matters. He is admitted to the Patent Bar and can practice patent matters before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Schroeder has experience working at the appellate level, having interned for Justice Thomas D. Waterman of the Iowa Supreme Court, and at the trial level having interned with the 7th Judicial District, Iowa District Court. In his employee benefits practice, Schroeder represents employee benefits plans, their employer sponsors, and fiduciaries faced with claims for benefits, governmental investigations, and purported class actions. He has advised clients through the pre-litigation pleading, motion, and discovery stages of trial.

Schroeder is also an active member of his local community; he has been serving as a member on the Associate Board for Boys Hope Girls Hope since 2023, serves on the Phoenix Public Library Foundation Board of Directors, as has served on the Loras College Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry Board of Visitors since 2022.
