PHOENIX – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Phoenix attorney Zach Schroeder was elected to the Phoenix Public Library Foundation’s Board of Directors.
Founded in 1997, the Phoenix Public Library Foundation (PPLF) has been the fundraising partner for the Phoenix Public Library and an impetus to convert the Library’s strategic initiatives into new, expanded, and highly engaging programs and services for all ages. PPLF strives to inspire early learners, enrich lives, and grow the economy. Through its programs, PPLF’s focus is to improve early literacy, reading skills, and capabilities for children and families. Its focus is also on bolstering access to educational programs for those seeking to accomplish high school, college, and career goals. By providing learning environments designed for collaborating, meeting sharing, and creating, PPLF hopes to continue to be a community venue that will have a true impact and social change in Phoenix, Arizona.
Schroeder said: “Reading is an important aspect of our lives because it is the cornerstone of a good education. Books allow you to learn new things, explore new worlds, embrace alternate realities, and experience others’ lives. It is a privilege to serve on the PPLF’s Board of Directors and help foster and cultivate this environment for others.”
