Snell & Wilmer Dallas Office Continues Growth with Addition of Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Counsel James Griffin
DALLAS – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to welcome James Griffin to the firm.
“Jim will make a great addition to our Dallas office as we continue to grow our presence in the region. Armed with decades of experience, and his dedication to community engagement, Jim will be a valuable asset in the firm’s vision for the future,” said Executive Committee Member overseeing the Dallas office, Curt Reimann.
Griffin works with clients on 401(k) plans and other retirement plans, as well as tax issues involving health plans, Section 125 cafeteria plans and Section 409A deferred compensation plans. He helps clients fix broken plans and work through examinations and investigations by the Internal Revenue Service and Department of Labor. Griffin brings over 30 years of experience helping clients solve their employee benefit problems and make their employee benefit plans work better.
Griffin was ranked by Chambers as a Band 2 for Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation. He was also recognized for 2024 Best Lawyers in Dallas by D Magazine.
Prior to joining Snell & Wilmer, Griffin was a partner with Scheef & Stone, and before that he was a partner with the Dallas office of Jackson Walker. Griffin received his J.D. from Southern Methodist Dedman School of Law, and his B.A. from Texas Tech University.
