Snell & Wilmer Names Courtney Henson Managing Partner of Its Tucson Office

TUCSON – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that partner Courtney Henson has been named managing partner of the firm’s Tucson office effective January 1, 2025. Henson succeeds Joe Kroeger, who has led the Tucson office for the past six years.

Snell & Wilmer’s Tucson office was established in 1988 and remains the largest full-service law firm in the Tucson metropolitan area and the Southern Arizona region. It provides a variety of full-service transactional and litigation services for businesses and individuals in a number of areas, including commercial litigation, real estate, commercial finance, labor and employment, and product liability, among others.

Henson stated, “I’ve called Snell & Wilmer’s Tucson office home since I was a summer associate in 2012. I am honored beyond words to follow in his footsteps as the next managing partner of the firm’s Tucson office. As the first woman at the helm in the office’s 36-year history, I hope to build upon our culture of treating our colleagues and our clients like the teammates and close friends that they are.”

Henson’s practice is concentrated in complex commercial litigation, class actions, and business disputes. In addition to class action lawsuits, her diverse practice includes business separation disputes, contract disputes, pre-litigation business dispute resolution and whistleblower investigations, among many others. Henson devotes a significant amount of time to the community. She is a board member with the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona and a Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce 40 Under 40 honoree. Henson is also recognized as a leading attorney by The Best Lawyers in America®, Ones to Watch Edition for Commercial Litigation, Health Care Law, and Labor and Employment Law – Management. She has also been recognized for her pro bono work and advocacy on autism issues. Henson is a graduate of the University of Arizona, James E. Rogers College of Law.
