Snell & Wilmer Names Richard Y. Kim Managing Partner of Its Washington, D.C. Office

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that partner Richard Y. Kim has been named managing partner of the firm’s Washington, D.C. office, effective January 1, 2025.

Opened in 2017, the firm’s Washington, D.C. office has robust capabilities in trademark and copyright litigation, counseling, prosecution, licensing, as well as investigations and government related issues, unfair competition and commercial litigation real estate, and labor and employment law.

Richard has managed large, complex trademark portfolios across diverse industries such as consumer products, technology, scientific innovation, food and beverage, health, and entertainment. He is well-versed in developing strategic approaches to filing, protecting, and enforcing trademarks both domestically and globally.
