Snell & Wilmer Partner Anthony King Sworn in as Southwest Regional Governor for NAPABA
PHOENIX – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Partner Anthony T. King was recently sworn in as the Southwest Regional Governor for the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA).
NAPABA is an Asian Pacific American membership organization representing the interests of 60,000 attorneys, judges, law professors, and law students. NAPABA’s vision is to achieve optimal representation and influence of Asian American and Pacific Islander attorneys in every facet and level of the legal profession and beyond.
As Southwest Regional Governor, King will be responsible for, among other things, representing his constituency on NAPABA’s Board of Directors and serving as a liaison between NAPABA and NAPABA’s affiliates in the Southwest region. King, along with the rest of NAPABA’s board, was recently sworn in during the 2023 NAPABA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Outside NAPABA, King is involved with a number of legal and non-legal organizations. He is a current board member and past president of the Arizona Asian American Bar Association. He has also been a Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Fellow (Class of 2022) and involved with the Judicial Intern Opportunity Program within the American Bar Association. He is currently on the Board of Directors for Phoenix Sister Cities and is a former board member of Asian Corporate & Entrepreneur Leaders.
In his legal practice, King handles litigation in federal and state courts across the country in a wide range of complex business and commercial litigation disputes, real estate disputes, partnership and shareholder disputes, employer-employee disputes, and a wide variety of business torts and other claims. King also represents clients throughout the alternative dispute resolution process, including arbitration and mediation. He has represented clients in a variety of industries including wholesale distribution, financial institutions, franchises, medical marijuana, and real estate. King is currently a member of Snell & Wilmer’s Hiring committee, and he has also served as a member of Snell & Wilmer’s Attorney Development and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committees.
