Lashbrook focuses her practice on real estate, corporate, and commercial finance transactions. With a wealth of experience, she helps her clients navigate real estate acquisitions and sales, joint ventures, commercial mortgage financing, and leasing for both industrial and retail properties, as well as property management issues. She is also well-versed in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, the preparation of corporate entity documents and consents, private placement memorandums, Regulation D securities offerings, and nondisclosure agreements.

Thompson’s practice focuses on defending class action lawsuits and providing representation for financial institutions and businesses during regulatory investigations. Over his career, he has handled over 250 potential class action cases for banking services and other clients, gaining pro hac vice admission in various federal district courts. Thompson counsels clients regarding climate and sustainability issues including defense and mitigation of greenwashing litigation and regulatory enforcement risks arising from sustainability disclosures and reporting, value chains and marketing activities. He works closely with clients to reduce emerging regulatory and litigation risks while also promoting initiatives focused on inclusion, innovation, and thought leadership.
Thompson stands as a dedicated ally, mentor, sponsor, and advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion. He actively engages within his firm, collaborates with clients, and participates in community initiatives to foster opportunities and inclusivity for diverse legal professionals and teams.
