Snell & Wilmer’s Tucson Office Wins Copper Cactus Award for Employer/Employee Development

TUCSON – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce the Tucson office was recognized with a Tucson Chamber Copper Cactus Awards in the category of Gibson Employer/Employee Development.

In its 27th year of recognizing the top companies in the region, the Copper Cactus award categories include BIPOC-Owned Business, Best Place to Work, Business Growth, Innovation, Start Up of the Year, Diversity & Inclusion Champion, Social Impact, and Woman-Owned Business. In addition, two individual awards—Small Business Leader of the Year and the Shirley Wilka Perseverance Award—are also awarded. The Gibson Employer/Employee Development award is given to a company that demonstrates leadership and can be considered a best practice in creating, offering and advancing internships, externships, tuition reimbursement programs or work-based learning programs.

This is the fifth year that Snell & Wilmer’s Tucson office has been named a finalist for a Copper Cactus Award and the third time it has won during this time period. In 2019, Snell & Wilmer went on to win the Copper Cactus in the category of Nextrio Innovation. In 2022, Snell & Wilmer won the BlueCross Blue Shield Best Place to Work (51-300 employees).
