Snell & Wilmer Tucson Partner Jill Casson Owen Named Winner of Connect CRE’s 2024 Lawyers in Real Estate Awards
TUCSON – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Tucson Partner Jill Casson Owen has been named a winner of Connect CRE’s Lawyers in Real Estate Awards for the Phoenix and Southwest region. This recognition highlights commercial real estate lawyers throughout various regions of the U.S.—including California, Texas, New York and the Tri-State, Chicago and Midwest, Washington, D.C., Boston and New England, Atlanta and Southeast, Florida and Gulf Coast, and Seattle and Pacific Northwest—who have significantly impacted commercial real estate through their contributions to the industry and community.
Jill Casson Owen’s enthusiasm for law has led to her development of a diverse real estate and business transactional practice where she provides advice to public and private entity as well as individual clients on a variety of federal, state, and local regulatory compliance matters. Her real estate knowledge, keen understanding, and care for her clients has contributed to building a practice that includes engagements focused on the purchase and sale of real property, both commercial and residential, lease transactions for both lessors and lessees in commercial, retail and industrial properties, and transactions relating to the development of real property, condominium conversions, plat approvals, subdivision public report applications, drafting CCRs and other related documents; fraternity and sorority student housing and REITs.
In addition to her extensive real estate practice, Jill is the board chair of the Beacon Group, an organization that provides services to people with disabilities. She is also a current board member of Chi Omega Fraternity, Zeta Beta Chapter, and a former board member of the Northwest YMCA, Tucson Adult Soccer League, and the American Youth Soccer Organization. She has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America® in the areas of Land Use and Zoning Law, as well as Real Estate Law.
Jill received her J.D. and B.S. from the University of Arizona.
