Snell & Wilmer Urban Planner Jason Boal Elected as Utah Chapter President of the American Planning Association
SALT LAKE CITY – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Salt Lake City Urban Planner Jason Boal has been elected to a two-year term as Utah Chapter President of the American Planning Association (APA).
APA Utah provides vision and leadership for the future development and re-development of Utah communities. Its members work in long-term planning and development review, master planning, site planning, transportation planning, land use planning, historic preservation, recreation and federal lands planning, environmental planning, urban design, legislative and policy work and in various other capacities related to the all-encompassing goal of the APA: “Creating Great Communities For All.”

Boal is an Urban Planner who is certified by the American Institute of Certified Planners. He provides complete due diligence, entitlement, and development services for the firm’s clients, through the entire lifecycle of a project, from concept to occupancy and operation. With over 15 years of experience in the urban planning realm, Boal provides a knowledgeable perspective into the complex governmental processes, including entitlements (rezonings, conditional use permits, variances and appeals), land division (subdivisions, lot splits, easements, and abandonments of public rights-of-way), and construction permitting (design review approvals, site plan approvals and construction plan reviews).
