Snell & Wilmer’s Las Vegas Office Welcomes Four New Attorneys

Scott Weide is counsel in the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group. He brings over 30 years of IP experience, having prepared and prosecuted over a thousand foreign and domestic patent applications across a diverse range of technologies, from complex mechanical to medical devices, gaming devices and systems, computing devices and systems and software. In addition to his patent work, Weide is well-versed in trademark, copyright, trade secret, and intellectual property litigation matters. His practice also includes performing product clearances, conducting prior art searches for patentability and invalidity analysis, analyzing patent infringement claims, and drafting and negotiating licensing and development agreements, ensuring clients receive strategic and thorough intellectual property counsel.
Christopher Austin is a counsel attorney in the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group, bringing over two decades of trial experience dedicated to helping businesses and individuals safeguard their patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. His practice is distinguished by his exceptional skill in securing emergency relief, including obtaining court orders to halt infringement and seize infringing materials. Austin’s strategic and results-driven approach make him a trusted advocate for clients navigating the complexities of intellectual property disputes.
Matthew Kramer is an associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group. He began his career enforcing a university’s registered trademarks against counterfeiters and analyzing the liabilities of social media influencers promoting counterfeit goods on behalf of third parties. Beyond intellectual property law, Kramer also advises clients on business planning matters, including the formation and organization of limited liability companies, corporations, and partnerships.
Brian Reeve is a counsel attorney within the firm’s commercial litigation practice group, where he brings his proficiency and dedication to navigating complex legal disputes and delivering strategic solutions for clients in both the public and private sector.
