Snell & Wilmer’s Washington, D.C. Office Welcomes Intellectual Property Associate, Cole Tipton
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that attorney Cole Tipton has joined the Washington, D.C. office as an associate in the intellectual property practice group.
Tipton focuses his practice on patent and trade secret litigation before U.S. federal courts, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and the International Trade Commission. Cole has played an integral role on cases at the International Trade Commission and in district court where he has contributed to all aspects of the case including drafting dispositive and discovery motions, arguing in Federal Court, taking and defending depositions, and managing multi-patent cases through trial. He has worked alongside technical experts to develop a deep understanding of complex technologies, including semiconductor technologies, cellular equipment, radio frequency identification devices (RFID), agricultural equipment, aerospace mechanisms, and plural component mixing system.
Prior to joining Snell & Wilmer, Tipton was an associate at Kirkland & Ellis. He received his J.D. from the Wake Forest School of Law and his B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Kentucky.
