Snell & Wilmer Partner Garth Stevens Elected Board of Directors Chair for St. Joseph the Worker

PHOENIX – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Phoenix-based partner Garth D. Stevens has been elected Chair of the Board of Directors of St. Joseph the Worker.
Established in 1988, St. Joseph the Worker’s mission is to connect the Valley’s disadvantaged, homeless, and transitioning individuals to quality jobs, by providing support, resources, and tools necessary for becoming employable. The nonprofit organization assists unhoused, low-come, and other disadvantaged individuals in their efforts to become self-sufficient through quality employment. Stevens has served on the organization’s Board of Directors for the past five years, including terms as Secretary and, more recently, Vice Chair.
”Having served on the Board of Directors of St. Joseph the Worker for the last five years, it is an honor to be elected as Chair of the Board. Stevens' practice is concentrated in general corporate, transactional and securities law focusing on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, complex joint ventures, venture capital, securities regulatory compliance, licensing transactions, and commercial agreements. His experience includes representing clients in a variety of industries including high technology products and services, education services, software, business process outsourcing, biotechnology and genome sciences, industrial products, food products, real estate development, and waste management services.
In addition to his service on the Board of Directors of St. Joseph the Worker, Stevens, an instrument rated pilot, flies as emergency services air crew for the Civil Air Patrol (U.S. Air Force Auxiliary).
