Snell & Wilmer’s Denver Office Continues Growth With Addition of Two Associates, Jordyn McDowell and Carrie Schaffer

DENVER – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that attorneys Jordyn McDowell and Carrie Schaffer have joined the firm’s Denver office. McDowell is an associate in the corporate and securities practice group, while Schaffer is an associate in the firm’s special litigation and compliance practice group.    

McDowell focuses her practice on corporate clients in several industries with regard to mergers and acquisitions, organizational formation and structure, venture and equity capital, private placements of debt and equity securities, securities filings, corporate governance, and other general business transactions. Before joining Snell & Wilmer, McDowell was an associate for a national firm in Denver. She received her J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and her B.A. from the University of San Diego. 

Schaffer advises clients on association bylaws, commercial leases, commercial development, site plans, and special use and variance zoning. She drafts and reviews contracts and is experienced in negotiation. Schaffer was an associate for a national firm in Denver, prior to joining the firm. She received her J.D. and M.S. from the University of Denver and her B.S. from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs.
