Biography

Francis Lammes is a Registered Patent Agent based in the firm’s Dallas office with over 19 years of experience in intellectual property law. Much of his experience has focused on preparing and prosecuting invention applications for subject matter including computer applications, computer architecture, networking integrated circuit design, and various other electrical mechanical, and computer-based technologies, while also including home appliances, exercise equipment, infrared camera systems, unmanned drone systems, firearms, and medical devices. He also has experience working with attorneys to file and prosecute U.S. and foreign patent applications. Additionally, Francis regularly works with inventors, both in the United States and internationally, on developing strategies in the area of development, strengthening patents to support products, and working around potential roadblocks posed by prior art.
