Paloma Scheiferstein focuses her practice in commercial litigation. Paloma graduated magna cum laude from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University where she served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Arizona State Law Journal. Before joining the firm, Paloma clerked for Chief Justice Robert M. Brutinel of the Arizona Supreme Court and was a judicial extern at the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona for the Hon. Bridget S. Bade, who has since been appointed to the Ninth Circuit.
Paloma has assisted in the representation of a variety of clients across multiple industries, in matters involving breach of contract, intellectual property disputes, gaming, financial services litigation, and Arizona’s newly promulgated Alternative Business Structure (ABS) rule. She regularly analyzes and briefs complex legal issues and utilizes her research and analysis skills to draft complaints, answers, and pretrial motions.
Paloma has worked on numerous cases in the financial services field, where she has assisted in defending national institutions in actions involving claims of alleged wrongful foreclosure, loan servicing errors, breach of loan modification agreements, and the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).
In her cybersecurity practice, she helps clients across a spectrum of industries manage cybersecurity risks, respond to cyber-attacks and defend related regulatory enforcement actions and civil litigation.
