Paloma Scheiferstein has a varied commercial litigation practice where she helps clients navigate complex legal matters.
Paloma has experience in financial services litigation and her practice includes representing banks in actions involving deposit accounts, check fraud, wire transfers, claims of alleged wrongful foreclosure, loan servicing errors, breach of loan modification agreements, the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and the Unfair Debt Collection Practices Act (UDCPA). In addition, Paloma has worked with clients across a wide range of industries in high-stakes disputes involving breach of contract, intellectual property, gaming law, construction litigation, and public utilities. Paloma appears regularly before the Arizona Corporation commission (ACC) on matters involving public utilities, including rate cases and applications for a certificate of convenience and necessity (CC&N). She is skilled at analyzing complex legal issues and regularly participates in intricate motion practice and pretrial strategies. In the area of cybersecurity, she helps clients manage risks, respond to cyber-attacks, and defend related regulatory enforcement actions and civil litigation.
Prior to joining Snell & Wilmer, Paloma clerked for Chief Justice Robert M. Brutinel of the Arizona Supreme Court.
