Biography

Rick Gordon’s practice is focused on complex commercial and civil litigation with significant experience in the areas of M&A and securities class actions, product liability/mass tort defense, insurance coverage, trademark and copyright infringement, municipal and employment law, and commercial contract and business tort disputes. Rick has successfully prosecuted and defended these actions in both state and federal courts at the trial and appellate level, including the Nevada Supreme Court and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, as well as before administrative agencies and arbitration panels.

In addition to his commercial litigation docket, Rick has devoted a significant amount of time to the representation of non-profit organizations and religious institutions throughout the country and has championed the rights of children as a pro bono attorney for the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada’s child abuse and neglect program, being recognized as the Pro Bono Child Advocate of the Year in 2011.

Rick is currently a member of the firm’s Ethics Committee and is the Ethics Chair for the Las Vegas office.
