Employee Benefits Update – January 2010
On December 16, 2009, the Securities and Exchange Commission adopted
several amendments[1] to its executive compensation disclosure rules in an
effort to improve transparency in compensation and corporate governance
disclosures. The new rules apply to filings made on or after February 28,
2010, although public companies with fiscal years ending before December
20, 2009 will not be required to implement the new disclosures until next
year.
