Global Connection – September 2011

Sep 06, 2011

Dear Friend of Snell & Wilmer:

Snell & Wilmer is pleased to be the primary corporate sponsor to the Arizona Technology Council and the Arizona Chamber of Commerce’s Official Trade Delegation to China this month. Over the last several years, many of our friends have sought our guidance and assistance in developing a “China Strategy.” By participating in the trade delegation, we look forward to strengthening existing and creating new relationships in China to benefit our friends and our greater communities.

In support of the China trade delegation, Snell & Wilmer has hosted several seminars to highlight and discuss Chinese business opportunities in the United States. Further, this edition of Global Connection is primarily dedicated to issues companies may encounter when doing business with Chinese-dominated companies. China is a very large market that is increasingly demanding United States products and other resources. China is also transitioning from a manufacturing dominated economy to high-technology research and development, especially in the area of renewable energy. We look forward to reporting back to you about the Chinese trade delegation and the multiple opportunities that exist.
