Health Care Alert: Navigating Health Care Reform (June 10, 2010)
The IRS has requested comments regarding the additional requirements imposed on tax-exempt hospitals under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(r), which was enacted as part of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010. The request for comments came in the form of Notice 2010-39, which is accessible here on the IRS website.
