The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has proposed to disapprove in part Arizona’s state implementation plan (SIP) to meet the Clean Air Act (CAA) requirements applicable to the serious Maricopa County (Phoenix) nonattainment area (Maricopa area).
