Six Snell & Wilmer Attorneys Recognized by the Arizona Bar Foundation

Phoenix, AZ – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that attorneys Ed Hermes, Robert Ito, Kaitlyn Salman, Lauren Talkington, and Jessica Van Ranken were selected as 2024 recipients of the Top 50 Pro Bono Attorney Awards by the Arizona Foundation for Legal Services & Education. Top 50 Pro Bono awardees, who are nominated by the Foundation's approved legal service entities and are honored for the numerous hours they have dedicated to helping provide access to justice, were recently recognized at the Arizona Bar Foundation’s annual luncheon on June 13th.

The Arizona Foundation for Legal Services & Education is an organization created by the State Bar of Arizona to promote access to justice for all Arizonans, by preparing Arizona youth for civic responsibility and providing access to justice for Arizonans most in need.

Arizona Bar Foundation Board of Director and Snell & Wilmer Phoenix Partner Joseph G. Adams shared, “We are deeply honored to work with the Arizona Bar Foundation on its mission of promoting access to justice for all Arizonans. As a Board member, I see the valuable work being done by the excellent staff and volunteers. We are pleased to see attorneys from our firm are again recognized as top pro bono attorneys and advocating for those in need.”

Ed Hermes is a Phoenix partner and a commercial litigator who is committed to serving as a trusted advisor to his clients and community. His practice is focused focuses on complex commercial, tax, property, construction disputes, and disputes involving Federal Indian Law. He is the co-chair of the firm’s Committee on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

Robert Ito is a Phoenix associate whose practice is concentrated on corporate and securities law, with an emphasis on mergers & acquisitions, securities offerings, joint ventures, business formation, and general corporate counseling.

Kaitlyn Salmans is a Phoenix associate who focuses her practice in private client services. She assists clients with estate planning, estate and trust administration and probate.

Lauren Talkington is a Tucson associate whose practice is concentrated in private client services, specifically estate planning, probate, estate and trust litigation, and business succession planning.

Jessica Van Ranken is a Phoenix associate with a practice concentrated in labor and employment law. She represents and counsels clients on compliance with state and federal employment laws, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), among others.

Also honored at the June 13th luncheon was partner Matthew P. Feeney, this year’s Walter E. Craig Distinguished Service Award recipient.
